Jane graduated from Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences, in Melbourne, in 1981, with a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy at the age of 23.
Jane spent the next two years working in the United Kingdom gaining experience in the Public Hospital system and Sports Medicine. Following her return to Australia, Jane established a successful Private Physiotherapy Clinic in Melbourne, treating a wide variety of patients, including RAAF members, sports injuries, workers compensation and private patients.
In 1991 Jane relocated to NSW and subcontracted as Head Physiotherapist to the Department of Defence, School of Infantry, Singleton for 8 years. Jane was responsible for the treatment and rehabilitation of injured soldiers, as well as the Army Rugby Union team and local Rugby League and Soccer players.
Jane established another successful Physiotherapy Clinic within a busy Medical Practise in Toukley, in 2003, working alongside General Practitioners, Nurses, Pathology and Radiology.
